BYOP Re-upholstery Workshop, (bring your own piece) Bring your own piece (a side chair or ottoman is recommended) that needs 2 days of tender loving restyling and learn the tricks to stripping, refinishing and reupholstering. Small class sizes ensure hands-on instruction. Upon registration we'll provide a handy yardage chart for the fabric you will need. Some stuffing and foam supplies will be available for purchase, but please bring your own trims and detailing supplies (paint colours or finishes) for your specific piece. Lunch included. $225.99/person- 2 days. Head of the Bed DIY Headboard Create your own upholstered headboard. Choose from 3 styles: tufted, scrolled or classic. Choose your size (twin, full, queen, king +$50) and your basic supplies such as frame and foam will meet you at the studio. Upon registration we'll send you a guide and share some of our favourite sources for fabric. Bring your fabric and leave with your own upholstered piece. Participants will receive a list of our favourite fabric sources and yardage required. $339 (king +$50). Put your feet up DIY Ottoman Make your own upholstered ottoman for an extra seat, bedside bench or casual coffee table. All you need is your own fabric. Choose from 3 size options (square 24x24", rectangular bench 16x32", or low-profile square cocktail table) and style (tufted, pleated) and 3 styles of turned legs. All other basic supplies will be supplied (Except fabric). Participants will receive a list of our favourite fabric sources and yardage required. $282.50/person. Learn to RE:StyleLearn the tricks to stripping, refinishing and reupholstering various furniture pieces with a hands-on workshop. All supplies and hand tools provided. Light lunch included.$125/person. Antique Buying Trips DATES TO COME FOR WEEKENDS IN MAY-SEPT. Head to giant antique and vintage sales with RE:Style Studio’s team of stylists and upholsterers. They’ll help you decide if something can be refinished or refreshed and what you’ll need to do to make it special. They’ll even help you haul it home! Various sale destinations to be announced throughout the spring and summer. $100 transportation and lunch included. Special trips may vary in price. DIY Wedding Seminar: Introduction to designing a handcrafted wedding with Corinna Wraps Want to make your own wedding invitations, decorations and accessories but don’t know where to start? In this seminar, you will learn how to design a unique event that reflects your personal style. Discover where to find inspiration, how to develop a theme, and what you can make for that handcrafted touch. From invitations to wedding favours to centrepieces and much more, we’ll cover techniques and sources to make your big day extra special. Plus we’ll offer tips on how to avoid the most common mistakes and headaches when making crafts for an event. Guests will go home with a resource list and costing guides, as well as a special gift bag. $35/person. Re-upholstery Studio time (bring your own piece) Call RE:Style to book a time Make a mess in someone else's space! Work on your own re-upholstery project in RE:Style's design studio. Perfect for seasoned DIYers. This is self-guided studio time. If you need coaching please see our list of courses. Recommended for larger projects that require sewing (cushions, multiple pieces) or complicated fabric patterns. Visual approval by the RE:Style team is required to book.
